Noho Impact Report
We believe transparency is a key part of being a sustainable business. We have mapped out our supply chain, our material usage and management to operations in our very first impact report.
Our unique approach centers on the belief that good design benefits both people and the planet. We are passionate about creating furniture that brings joy to everyday life. Every piece starts with a clear purpose, addressing unmet needs in both home and work environments. We aim to design furniture that seamlessly integrates into our lives, brings people together and enhances daily activities and experiences.
We prioritize environmental responsibility in all aspects of our design process. Our furniture is crafted using eco-friendly materials and designed to minimize waste. We are committed to durability and quality, ensuring our products have a long life, and use renewable energy throughout manufacturing to reduce our carbon footprint. By focusing on sustainable practices, we strive to make a positive impact on the planet while enhancing your everyday life.
This environmental focus has been a founding principle for Noho and using sustainable materials has been a key element of all our products. We launched Noho in 2020 with the Noho Move chair which is made with recycled/re-polymerized nylon, sourced from reclaimed fishing nets and end-of-life carpets, and pre-consumer waste polypropylene. In March 2023 we were excited to launch our second product the Lightly chair which is made from a castor bean plant based material and post-industrial ASA waste. And most recently we have launched our third product the Dine table which is made from recycled aluminum paired with a sustainably harvested solid timber top.
We are also very focused on how our products get to our customers. We consider the materials we use for our packaging which are all from a recycled source and naturally biodegradable. Our products are shipped either broken down, such as Noho Move with its legs off and in a cunning nestable L-shaped box; or stacked, such as Lightly with up to 15 chairs in a box; or flat pack such as Dine which comes in easily assembled components.
Our team has achieved a lot over the past 4 years and our customer focus has delivered us a 4.7 star rating that we are very proud of and shows we are heading in the right direction.
In the year ahead we will continue with our mission to support our customers and deliver products that benefit both people and planet – our goal is to deliver products that don’t just do less harm but products that are good for our planet.
