Warranty

Limited Warranty— Noho Move™ Chair (5 years), Noho Move™ Topper (1 year), Lightly™ Chair (5 years), Lightly™ Chair upholstery components (1 year), Dine Table (5 years) 

Our Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship (the “Limited Warranty”) on the Noho Move Chair for a period of five (5) years and on the Noho Move Topper for a period of one (1) year and on the Lightly Chair for a period of five (5) years and on the Lightly Chair upholstery components for a period of one (1) year and the Dine Table for a period of five (5) years from each product’s original date of purchase (individually and collectively, the “Warranty Period”); Claims regarding missing parts must comply with the requirements detailed below.

Please note that this Limited Warranty is only available to the original purchaser and is not transferable to any other person. This Limited Warranty cannot be extended or transferred to re-sold products.

With respect to the Noho Move Topper, this Limited Warranty applies to the upholstery fabric, cushion foam, seams, and fitting mechanism failure, and fabric separation during the applicable Warranty Period. This Limited Warranty does not cover pilling, which is a result of normal wear and tear, fading, caused by overexposure to sunlight. Please be advised that all foam naturally softens over time with use. This softening does not constitute a defect under this Limited Warranty.

With respect to the Dine Table, this Limited Warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship. Please be advised wood is a natural material and will change colour over time based on environmental conditions. This Limited Warranty does not cover variations or changes in grain and colour on timber tops or fading caused by overexposure to sunlight.  

Repair or Replacement

During the Warranty Period, Noho will, at Noho’s discretion, either cover the cost to repair any defect in material or workmanship or to replace the defective product with a new product of equal value without charge. Noho will also cover the actual and reasonable shipping costs to return the defective product to us and for us to deliver the repaired or replacement product back to you. Any such repair or replacement may be subject to verification of the defect and proof of purchase, as confirmed by showing the original, dated sales receipt.

Warranty Limitations

This Limited Warranty does not include:

  • Any condition resulting from use other than ordinary commercial use or any use for which the product was not intended, such as use outdoors or in unrestricted public places, unless agreed to by Noho in writing at the time of sale.
  • Any condition resulting from incorrect or inadequate maintenance or care
  • Damage resulting from misuse, abuse, negligence, abnormal use or customer accident.
  • Dissatisfaction due to buyer’s remorse
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage incurred during assembly, disassembly or maintenance
  • Damage and / or marking caused through stacking.
  • Product deviation from a colour sample, wood sample or other kind of sample as such samples can only be considered as a guiding example.

Please note that our warranty does not cover general wear and tear, including the stacking of chairs. Stacking chairs are designed for easy storage and frequent use, which may result in scratches, scuffs, and dents over time. While we ensure high-quality craftsmanship, these signs of wear are considered normal and not covered under this Limited Warranty.

Noho makes no express representation or warranty whether written or oral and, to the extent allowed by the local law of jurisdictions outside New Zealand, Noho disclaims all implied warranties or conditions, including any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.

For all transactions occurring in New Zealand, any implied warranty of condition of merchantability, satisfactory quality, or fitness for a particular purpose is limited to the duration of the express Warranty Period set forth above. Some states or countries do not allow a limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts or the exclusion of limitation of incidental or consequential damages for consumer products. In such states or countries, some exclusions or limitations of this Limited Warranty may not apply to the purchaser.

The terms contained in this Limited Warranty, except to the extent lawfully permitted, do not exclude, restrict, or modify but are in addition to the mandatory statutory rights applicable to the sale of this product to the purchaser.

All claims under this Limited Warranty must be filed by the customer to the seller of the product.

Noho advises that the purchaser retain invoices for a minimum of one year for Noho Move Topper warranty claim purposes, and five years for Noho Move Chair warranty claim purposes, and five years for upholstered and un-upholstered Lightly Chair warranty claim purposes and five years for Dine Tables warranty claim purposes.

Claim Procedures

Claims for defective Noho Move Topper products and Lightly Chair upholstery components under this Limited Warranty must be made within one (1) year from the invoice date. Claims for defective Noho Move and Lightly Chair products under this Limited Warranty must be made within five (5) years from the invoice date. Claims for defective Dine Table products under this Limited Warranty must be made within five (5) years from the invoice date. Claims for missing parts must be made within 60 calendar days after the product is received. Noho reserves the right to specify that items be returned to the original warehouse for inspection. For defective product claims, customers may be required to submit pictures as well as a copy of the original invoice. If Noho determines that the claim is justified, the product(s) or part(s) will be repaired or replaced with a new product or part of equal value, or the purchase price refunded, at Noho’s sole discretion.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may have other rights, which vary from state to state.
